About Us

Our Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Federal Employees (Kingston) Credit Union Limited shall be to provide the maximum in cost-effective financial services to our members consistent with co-operative principles, applicable legislation, and sound business practices.

Federal Employees (Kingston) Credit Union Limited was founded in 1948 by a group of Correctional Service Officers and is Kingston's oldest existing Credit Union. Unlike traditional banks Credit Unions are owned by the Members, who have a direct say in how their Credit Union operates. Our Membership does not only include Federal Employees, we also service our friends and family in the Community. Anyone can join, and when you do, not only do you become a shareholder, you also become a Member of a unique financial institution whose main function is to work for the benefits of all its Members.

We offer a full range of products and services to best serve our Members for all of their financial needs. Because we are a Federal Employees Credit Union, we also have the knowledge and understanding of the unique needs of those who earn their living in Federal Government offices and institutions. So, it makes sense that we are able to be more responsive to you and your family's financial needs. We never forget we are servicing our Members, and not just customers. So, all of our staff are trained to understand and deal with your inquiries or transactions in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner at all times. After all, Members of the community and our institution are our most important assets.
